seems to be the motto of all the health services here, not just the NHS.
Catching up: Marcia's appointment with the consultant was on Fri May 7th, over at Hinchinbrooke hospital near Huntingdon. He ordered an ultrasound test to confirm that it's the gall bladder playing up.
Ultrasound test was May 10th at 7pm at Cambridge Leas hospital just north of Cambridge, which was convenient for carrying on to the Cambridge pub meeting afterwards. However, the test showed a normal gall bladder with no stones, but a blocked(?) bile duct.
So we saw the consultant again on Wednesday (12th) at the Leas. He doesn't quite know what to think (and he said so - a plus point in my book) so he's ordered another test - a specialised MRI. Which will be next Wednesday (19th) back at Hinchinbrooke...
Some day we may actually get to surgery and get Marcia back to work.
