Catching Up

Time to catch up - I've mostly been busy working weekends, which leaves less to write about.

Marcia, on the other hand:
(a) had an operation, which worked but didn't quite fix her problem
(b) fell in a pond and broke a crown
(c) had another operation, which didn't work but told us what we needed to know
(d) applied for a job with NHS Direct in Cambridge
(e) went to the USA for Thanksgiving and bought 14 Dixie Walker eggs
(f) came back from the USA to discover that NHS Direct had started taking up her references and had asked her for interview the next day
(g) did the interview and thought it went well
(h) got a job offer (to start in February)
(i) retrieved Samson from Durance Vile (ie the kennels)

So one of us has been busy.

Today we may go up to Littleport to look at a house for the_magician. Chris thinks it looks like one he might both want and be able to afford. So we're wondering what the serious bug is in it...
