Friday: I was doing a Java course (enhanced employability: boo!) in London all week, so when the Friday session overran a bit I opted to go to the Friday night meeting for the first time in ages. Indeed, I think it was the first time I'd been to the Windmill in Mill Street. Present: [livejournal.com profile] pmcmurray, [livejournal.com profile] ffutures and Brian the Bookfinder. A small but select group.

Saturday: a bit of catching up at home and shopping, followed by a visit from the Memorabilia Fairy, in the form of [livejournal.com profile] pmcmurray. A dozen boxes were left, which I need to sort through for the stuff I want before passing the remainder on to Peter Weston to pick over. And then to Cambridge and [livejournal.com profile] groliffe's party.

Sunday: more visitors, this time Dave T and John H, to survey the art show bits and cut some of the poles down from Worldcon sizes to Eastercon. As part of the idle chat, John said that he was looking for an oldfashioned wall phone as part of his new plans for his house. "One like this?" "Yes." So he now has an old phone, and I have some spare space...

And so back to work.
