It's Not An Addiction, Really...

Yesterday the change of ADSL provider finally happened. Marcia changed over the login details without problem, and all went swimmingly.

Up till about 6pm or so, at which point the router suddenly couldn't maintain a connection for any length of time. I managed to place a bid on Ebay without outbidding myself (just), but most connections didn't work.

However, when I looked this morning, the current connection had been up for more than 6 hours, and everything was working properly.

I presume that last night's problems were down to BT trying to Max the linespeed, and indeed we now seem to have a 2Mb connection in place of our previous 512Kb.

Now to subscribe to mlb.tv and blow all our download limits...
