It is now official: the Coveney Carpet Bowls team, after years of lurking in the bottom division and press-ganging anyone who wandered too near a match, have finished second in the Second Division (to which they were promoted last year) and are now in the First Division.
There may even be Practices Beforehand now...
It will probably help that our local rivals Little Downham 1 were the D2 Champions and are also promoted.
