We just had a power cut - though I think it was unconnected to the fact that I was cooking breakfast. My PC stayed up, thanks to the UPS we put in the other week.
The other UPS which was not installed cannot see the mains power even though it's back and is crying inconsolably :-(
I'll haul it back from the garage in a bit and try plumbing it in.
