We noticed on Friday that the vets are having an amnesty for cats that have missed their annual jabs - restaet the sequence for the price of a booster. As the adults missed theirs in all the kerfuffle with Faldo, this looked like a Good Thing.

So appointments were made and the catflap closed to outbound traffic last night. This didn't stop Patchy getting out, though. But she came in about an hour ago, so the catflap is now locked both ways.

Princess made a run for it, as always, but into Marcia's study, which has only one door. So she's in a box. Patch also tried to run for it, but this morning's trick with the catflap doesn't work any more, so she's in a box, too.

The other two adults will go in this evening with Josie when she gets her checkup, but neither of them are a problem to catch.

Now: off to the V-E-T...

Duchess has some sort of lumps, so no jabs for her; instead she has blood tests, followed possibly by X-rays and some dental work (she has bad gingivitis).

Just what we needed right now :-(
