He was obviously going downhill, and whatever was causing his problems wasn't fixable in any reasonable manner, so we decided to say goodbye.

So now he's running in the Happy Hunting Grounds.

He was a lovely dog, so powerful, so solid. I remember him well from visits to Coveney, taking him round the nature reserve area nearby.
