Anniversaries
I find that the kittens were two years old on Monday.
More to the point, on 22 July 2003 I came home to find Kali had died unexpectedly, and on 22 July 2004 we found Jamin lying in the garden, having apparently had a stroke; he died on the way to the vets.
Yesterday, we were out quite a lot picking up Sam Smith & Judy from Gatwick; their plane was delayed by two-and-a-half hours, so we were away quite a lot. And then we went out for dinner in the evening.
But we didn't see Jasper at all yesterday. Not that this is unusual for Jasper, but...

Hope he turns up, I worry if I don't see Shadow for a few hours, given that he follows me around like Mary's little lamb.
