Help with Names

I'm having trouble with resolving timill.co.uk from Demon.

Could people check what dotted quad they get for timill.co.uk and www.timill.co.uk, and post the results along with which ISP they were using for the check.

both timill.co.uk and www.timill.co.uk: 80.75.66.121

From a Demon ADSL, but using 158.152.1.58 as first DNS server, and that server's feeding from one of the Pipex UUNet ones, IIRC.

From Demon (158.152.1.43), both resolve to 67.15.18.12.

And using the private Rightmove name servers, I get 80.75.66.121.

OK, your problem is this. There are four name servers for timill.co.uk: ns.sohoservers.net, ns2.sohoservers.net, ns2.nothard.net and ns3.nothard.net. Three of them have the IP as 80.75.66.121, but ns.sohoservers.net has it as 67.15.18.12. So there's a problem with whoever is running your DNS for you for that domain.

Thanks for that - 67.15.18.12 is the right answer. Off to kick soho-uk.com with that information...
