I was going to write up our Christmas, and What Santa Brought Us, but while playing with setup on the new widescreen TV and NASN subscription, I looked out of a window towards Ely and saw...
not four black dragons, but certainly a fire. It looks as though one of our neighbours in the countryside on West Fen Road has lost their house. I suspect at the moment that it's the barn conversion at West Fen Farm, though there are other possibilities. I hope I'm wrong, and that it's just an outbuilding, of which there are several in the vicinity.
Time will tell; more in the morning no doubt.
And now, back to the Insight Bowl... Bowl season is why I got the NASN subscription, and I want to have the new setup sorted by the time of the Peach Bowl, since Tennessee (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mkillingworth's alma mater) are playing Clemson, and there will be Disapproving Looks if I fail to tape it.
