So you wait, and then...

you wait some more.

And then someone checks your papers.

And you wait some more. And some more.

And then you have a chat about the papers with a chap who thinks there's lots of work in IT, and that selling a house for asking price in today's market is something you have to take if it's offered.

And then you pay to get your passport couriered home with its nice new green card.
