Photos here.
We went up to Columbus OH for Smofcon over the weekend, and got back on Monday evening. So on Tuesday we went over to the kennels with both cars, and came home with eight cats and one dog. They're now all settling in, and seem to be getting on OK together.
One thing we got was the crates that they were shipped in across the Atlantic; good, solid, individually built wooden crates (two doubles and three singles). Surprisingly, these all fitted into the back of Marcia's station wagon, leaving Jazzie to travel in a regular box on Marcia's front passenger seat, and Samson to come home with me on my back seat. I then had to go back with the wagon to collect Samson's crate, which was too big to fit in my sedan.
They do not seem wild about US cat food so far...
All we need now is our furniture, and we'll be all set.

Good to know the cats have survived import though!
