Provided you don't use Zone Alarm as firewall it ought to work pretty well. Zone Alarm has a nasty habit of messing up local networking including broadband installation.

But aren't most of your machines DOS / 486 anyway?

We both have WinXP machines these days, and I've almost finished moving functions off my 486 - I set up Free Agent as a newsreader yesterday, which only leaves the autoposting to deal with.
