This morning the ntl: broadband kit turned up nice and early. So, with only a couple of glitches (a non-working microfilter and the wrong username), we now have broadband up and working on Marcia's machine.

Hard-wired or WiFi? WiFi is handy but the security problems need to be considered, and in an old building like yours it might not work too well.

Marcia's machine and the laptop hardwired, my machine and Chris' by wireless.

Or so the theory goes. We shall see what actually happens.
