Just in time for the Fourth

I have a new toy.

Project for today: get it out of the car and assemble it (it's heavy).

Project for the weekend: play with it.

After that we can start looking at smoking joints...

Have fun setting the food on fire. :)

I live in an apartment, so my BBQ is a little tiny grill that I can set on the patio. One time I didn't realize the charcoal had gotten wet, so when I set it alight, it sent a smoky plume up and round to the other apartments in the area, who were very concerned that I was about to burn down the complex. Very embarrassing.

Whoo. Pretty. I'll be over as soon as I'm able -- I'm quite certain you aren't the sort to bogart joints.

I made stock last week from a smoked turkey carcass. The flavor is amazing.
