We flew up to Montreal via Chicago yesterday; I was travelling in T-shirt and jeans, which may have been a mistake.

Sunday night one of my molars decided it was going to play up, which didn't help, and then after dinner I suddenly had a fit of uncontrollable shivering, with a side order of throwing up. Fortunately this abated around 1am, though I didn't get much sleep.

This morning the tooth is almost back to normal, the gum inflammation is down, and I'm not feeling too bad. I'm a bit shaky which may be down to the lack of rest.

And a phone call to the Abbey has unblocked my cash card for use in Canada, so I may have actual money at some point...

Forgive me for hoping the shivering and throwing up was a side symptom of your tooth problem and not a norovirus. The fact that it stopped so quickly points away from the dread norovirus. Fingers crossed!

I'm very glad you're recovering, whatever the cause.
