I appear to have a job. Not a wonderful one, but it'll get me back in the swing of things, and mean that my "most recent employer" will have a US address in future (a number of job-application websites won't take a non-US address).

It was supposed to start on Monday, but that group has been cancelled, and it appears that Monday 18th is the probable date.

It's at SITEL, where Marcia works, and it may well be the same contract she's currently training for, which could have Amusing Results.

Excellent! I hope it leads to better things, and in the meantime, income is good.

ObCopyeditor: I assume there's a "January" missing in this sentence.

Congratulations!

And I sympathize with the "last address in US" problem. In my job, I often have to parse shipment data that includes addresses outside the USA, and it's depressingly common to find databases written by people who have never conceived of the idea that the postal code (named "Zip code" of course, since it's the US name) could ever be anything other than exactly five characters and only made up of numerals. Canada? UK? Rest of the World? About the only other country that uses a Str5 postal code that I've noticed is Mexico.

That's good to hear. I hope it goes well.
