So there I was, quietly reading my email, when the room went 'bang!'

It seems that lightning had struck our cable system. Total damage is unclear, but seems to include four PCs, two routers and a TV.

Yikes! Glad no one was hurt. Hope you come online soon, and that insurance covers all this.

Ack! My mother's house got zapped that way once, but as it was pre-PC days, she just lost a couple of TVs and random small electronics. My sympathy.
