That Crazy Amazon...

So I was ordering a Bagpuss DVD from amazon.co.uk for Marcia, and added a couple of books to the list. One of them was "White Murder", by David Wishart, a detective novel set in Ancient Rome.

So, ... click, click, "Continue Shopping", Yes...

Your Recommendations: Books: How about "White Murder", by David Wishart?

Someone, somewhere, is Unclear on the Concept...

You might find that it's just in the local cache. With Amazon I always do a F5 refresh after ordering stuff, adding to wish list or scoring them. It tends not to regenerate the list until you do so. At least it's better for books, some of the other things like electronic equipment just don't have the recommendations thing implemented at all - so it recommends completely inappropriate stuff. Also it has this habit of recommending things like a replacement battery pack for a different model of camera from the same manufacturer as the one I've got.
