What we need is a less generous set of friends :-) Despite Pat's sterling efforts, I'm sure we've got more food and drink now than before the party...

And I've found the corn-on-the-cob we were going to experiment with. Bah.

Oh, that's a shame! Barbequed corn on the cob is excellent if done correctly. (I've only managed this once myself, but then, all I have a little dinky barbeque grill that will hold maybe three ears of corn at a time.)
