The Village Hall AGM was on Wednesday evening. At the start, there were 7 of the 8 committee members and myself. The missing member turned up at 8; Marcia arrived at 8:30. So at the end there were 10 committee members present...

We are in the middle of refurbishing the bar area: the new bar has been built, but the worktop will take another a month or so to arrive. My suggestion that we could increase the turnout at the April social night by advertising it as featuring a topless bar was not adopted.

Today the Village Hall; tomorrow the Parish Council; can world domination be long delayed?

I mentioned the missing worktop and then said you wanted to put up posters for the "Topless Bar in Village Hall" ... that will keep me grinning for the rest of lunchtime!

I meant over the topless fundraising Idea. I figure mom is a busybody enough for being on council.

Not at all - she volunteered. The village hall is the place in the village where we spend most time doing community things, so being on the committee is a natural step.
