The fridge was not working again when I got up this morning - clearly the compressor isn't restarting once it's stopped. Next question: is it stopping normally, or is a safety cut-out working properly?

Time to consider a fridge repair place, I think...

Do let us know if you find anyone repairing fridges ... I suspect they're like hen's teeth :-(

Well, I've found two firms locally who claim to...

I suspect that the compressor is overheating because some ventilation duct is blocked. so just knowing where to look may be the answer.

Or there may be a deeper cause, in which case it's probably time for recycle & buy another :-(
