People Who Bought...

Just ordered from Amazon.com:
The Letters of John & Abigail Adams
1776 on DVD
Boston Red Sox 2004 World Series 12-DVD set
Light Theology & Heavy Cream, by Robert Farrar Capon.

Let's see them make a coherent whole out of that...

They will probably go for the weighted list. That colonial history stuff, and Boston too.
Care to wager?

Yawn!

Are you really going to watch 12 DVDs of the 2004 World Series? Dang.

1776, yay!

It's a pity that the 1776 DVD did not preserve all of the content of the Laserdisk. I have the LD and the DVD, and the LD, for instance, has all three verses of "Cool Considerate Men," whereas the DVD has only the as-released first verse. The second and third verses' prints are sloppy work prints, and the audio is from a secondary microphone and therefore not of the highest quality; however, it seems to me that they should have left the footage in anyway, or at least given you an option to see the lower-quality footage.

Que!
