Couple of years ago I had the misfortune to travel by train between Birmingham and Crewe about 5 p.m. - and no-one would give me a seat until we got to Wolverhampton even though I was on a crutch recovering from a broken leg!
Today I boarded a bus and realised once I got on that school had just let the sprogs out - so of course I had to stand! I hope that when I used to travel to/from school by bus 30 years ago I was better behaved, but I rather fear I wasn't.
