Things I can do without.

The Rayburn (which heats the back of the house) going out for the second time this week.
The electric boiler (which heats the front of the house) being stone cold.
Fog.
Starting out for the vets with Samson and having the clutch cable break on the Escort.
Taking Samson to the vets and finding out that they hadn't done his rabies booster while we were away after all.
Getting back from the vets with Samson and having the exhaust back box fall off the Renault.

I see a bottle of wine in my immediate future...

Maybe not, but it never stopped me. You just have to be careful about how much you drink.
