Bah...

The Escort is still in the garage, so it won't be back till Wednesday at least. The automatic adjuster had disintegrated, and somebody has bent the clutch pedal bracket at some point in the past, so It All Takes Longer (and costs more).

Phase 1 of the Memorabilia Dump is now complete - I've been through the stuff Peter Weston had gone through and selected the stuff I want to keep. Coming Next: the stuff I get to select from and pass the rejects to Peter...

Life continues cold, as the electric heating is still overwhelmed by the work required of it.

On the plus side, I have a rather reasonable bottle of red wine in front of me...

Sorry to hear of all your heating and car woes.

OTOH, if you have a reasonable bottle of red in front of you, you probably won't be too cold for too long, and you probably shouldn't be driving anyway...

At least my car is still running, and fortunately neither of us has to work next week, so it's not the end of the world. And it's too bloody foggy to be trying to drive anywhere in this part of the world right now.

So we've been hearing. It was pretty foggy here in Western Pennsylvania early this morning. Now it's just rainy and cloudy.

BTW, Marcia, I'm working a contract with a woman from Tennesse just now. She lives nearby, so we share commuting into town.

Cool. What part of Tennessee? You have to remember, it's practically three states, having three grand divisions.

True enough!

Memphis. She and her husband used to work for one of the package shippers (I want to say FedEx).
