Pesky Nuisances...

I've just let Smokey out of the garage. He's sitting under the pergola looking suspicious, and I don't expect to see him again until teatime.

What surprises me is that he didn't come out yesterday, when Dave and I were loading the Art Show kit into his van, and the doors were open even when neither of us were around.

I wonder if he was afraid that we were moving? Maybe Dave's van reminded him of the one that took him to the quarantine kennel? Who knows. Bloody cats! Remind me why we have them, exactly?

Up to and including one of ours waking me up before 5.30 in the morning for two of the last three mornings, yes .... I find myself pondering a nice pair of fuzzy white mittens.
