We now have a ceiling in the stairwell again.
It turned out to be better to put up plasterboard and coat that rather than replace the lath-and-plaster, but it's up and that's what counts.
And the bent light fixture seems to be OK, only needing a bulb replaced. Need more bulbs, however.
Still needs painting, though. Festina lente...

But we do have all the required kit (which is mostly the extension handle, the shielded paint roller and the brush I bought the other day to do the barge boards). No scaffolding necessary.
