another Church fete...

another bottle of wine for winning the quiz.

Though the interesting remark was from Pam Fyfe, that there were three parties seriously interested in the plot of land next door. So there were two disappointed parties who were prepared to spend over £400k for the view...

... and we know how to find them to sell them a similar view for £350k (or more) and no delay while building.

I should be mentioned that that price is not fixed as yet. We are getting a professional estate agent in on Tuesday for a valuation. If you buy it before he comes, you could be getting a bargain.

If only had 350k {or more) to spare, I would buy it for the view anytime. With the added bonus of keeping the garage within fandom :)

That's certainly a worth goal, and I have suggested we might want to offer it on Ansible or something equivalent before we open it up to public offers. The garage is a real asset.

Hah! I bought 4 quids worth of tombola tickets at the school fete at work today and won two bottles of wine, a cellphone shell, and some sort of cosmetics kit. Both of the latter two will go to my nieces.
