Shouldn't be any more expensive than Jersey for most of us I'd guess ... but I do think it would end up being a small convention (under 400 people) and might be the next step in the "death of the Eastercon".
In 1990 we had about 1000 members at EastCon'90. I'm pretty sure that Helicon II, and last year's Eastercon were both under 700 members (or thereabouts). I'm guessing that Blackpool (www.eastercon.com/concourse) won't have 700 warm bodies (and may not even make it to 700 counting children, toys, supporting, no-shows etc. as we're currently around 550 with 10-20 memberships a week and postal registration cutting off in 10 days (well, officially anyway, we'll see how many envelopes we can open that arrive late... best plan for late joiners is to join online as that is probably good through to April 1st or so).
Oh, and having the Eastercon in America, the Easter after having the Worldcon in the UK seems almost perverse! (or appropriate, depending on how you view things!)
